Kahungunu Marae
Kahungunu Marae was opened in 1949. This building was gifted by the LDS Church in 1978 to the Nuhaka Community and Kahungunu People. Te Tahinga is situated on the left of Kahungunu Marae.

Manutai Marae
Manutai Whare Tipuna erected approximately 1888 and was damaged in the 1931 earthquake, but was still in use.

Tamakahu Marae
Tamakahu Marae was originally established in 1922, and rebuilt in 1928. This Marae is situated towards the north on the outskirts of the Nuhaka Township. The whare moe
is situated on the right and was built in the year 2000 and opened in 2001.

Unity Hall / Te Kotahitanga
Te Kotahitanga Hall also known as "Unity Hall" was built towards the end of 1913 prior to World War I. Te Kotahitanga Hall "Unity Hall" was built for the comfort of the Te Aranga Anglican Church which is situated at the rear of the Hall.

Taane-Nui-a-Rangi Marae
Tane-nui-a-Rangi Marae was originally situated alongside
the Mangapatiki stream, and was built in the year 1914. During the year of 1947
the Marae burnt down. Then a new site was donated by Ngati Rangi whanau to
rebuild a new Marae, situated where it is today. The Wharekai was used as the
Whare Tipuna as well, until the early 1980s when a new Whare Tipuna was opened
Labour Weekend 2001.

Te Poho o TeRehu Marae

Te Rehu Marae site was first established in 1926 when the Wharepuni and Kauta
was built. In 1947 the Kauta was replaced with the Wharekai. In 1973 it was
decided to build a new Whare Tipuna structure, and in 1982 the new Te Rehu Whare
Tipuna was completed and opened.
